L I F E - L O G N O. 2 (The truth about X factor (O_O) )

Hey Primas !!
Thank you for all your support and love xx I really enjoy reading your comments please follow if you are loving my stuff and keep on giving the feedback it really helps xx

One of my most viewed post was when I went to go and see Lion King last year. It's been a while but here is yet another life-log for you about when I went to watch the X factor auditions!!!!!!  I had loads of fun with the squad and met some people like Olly Murs (who is too perfect in real life)  and Caroline Flack. I did see the judges from afar but the atmosphere was great.

MY REAL REVIEW.
Don't get me wrong the overall experience was amazing however the waiting time on the day we pick was ridiculous. My sister has previously gone to watch it and told us that it only take a few minutes it get the ticket then we can go off and do are own things. We did not know that there was going to be a red carpet for the judges and that we were going to be used as extras -_-
When people say X factor is a fix I truly didn't believe them UNTIL this day.
*tellymix
You see these lovely people standing waiting looking like they're ready to kill it on stage. These are actually not auditionees , in fact only like 4 or five people audition in time slot you pick to watch. They're normal people like you and I who have ordered a free ticket to watch the auditions. We had to be extras for like 4 hours before we got our tickets yeey! we get to go on TV and  nayy we were standing with empty stomachs in the sun for over 4 hours -_____________-

The second dodgy thing was that the producers were visibly telling OLLY and CAROLINE things to say? that is mess up'. They said things like ask about boyfriend ask out the mums mortgage?
So the things you  see on TV is fiction even reality TV. Nobody's perfect (so I got to work it again and again till I get it right)

Apart for that, if you are looking for a fun day out with your mates in London it's a great opportunity and its FREE!

Here are a few pics of the day:

ps I just made an insta page for this blog please follow xx

A BIT LiPPY No.1

I'm starting a new series where I show lip swatches of my lipstick discoveries.
First one is MUA Luxe Liquid Liquid in Kooky.

These lipstick cost £3.00
you can get them from Superdrug
I rate them about 2/5
because:
✓ Pigmentation is great
✓ For the price it is decent.
× They don't last just rub your lips and they crumble :(

SO
this natural journey started casually when I started my secondary school education, when I was 11 years old. Prior to this time, I was addicted to perm so much so that I perm my hair behind my mum's back (worst move ever) . Begin young, I didn't understand hair, all I knew was that when I used perm my hair became manageable, silky and I thought it made me beautiful. Since I decided to perm my hair behind my mums back for a primary school prom, my hair became DAMAGE and weak. My mum started to say things like"Donna you have spoilt your hair" and unfortunately she was right. She made the best decision for my hair and forced me on the natural hair journey.

At first it was so difficult, my hair was tough and untameable. This led me to texturising my hair, I was still classed as natural but I wasn't. But then I found Youtube and learnt from people like LizLiz live and Fusion of Cultures who posted their journey and helped me on mine. I started to transition with braids most of my secondary school life I had braids or I did this two cornrow at the front hair style which was my go to hairstyle.

My roots where all fully natural but I had to grow out the texturised ends. This was extremely difficult because I was not allowed to cut my hair so I had to grow out my hair to a point where the "big chop" wasn't super dramatic.

But being the curious child that I am began to chop of my hair slowly, slowly and using Xpression to do a bun to hide this from the Boss(my mother). Weeks after my hair did grow but it was still weak and the end where falling off the shedding was REAL. People will say things like "Donna what happened to your hair?" and would be really mean and not supportive to my journey.

From my prom 4th July 2014 I did my first ever weave! If you want to see pictures I have a whole post on my prom on this blog. After 2 months of that weave I did my big chop and got my fro.

I did go through heat damage because of my leave out but through protective style after protective style, oiling my scalp and giving my hair some TLC I was able to get where I am today.

This journey is so not over it has just began! I will a post going on products I used and all about my hair type and so on.

My Makeup Wishlist ❤...

Here is a list of the things I would like to purchase but have not because I'm only a student that relies on her daddy and some are these products are not available in the UK.
Starting from left to right:
Colourpop Eyeshadows- Youtube and Instagram exposed me to this brand. These eyeshadows are super pigmented. They are very affordable ($5 each). Some of the eye looks I've seen on Insta using this is amazing and I would actually use this as an excuse to travel to the big apple.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks in American Doll- I would love to try these liquid lipstick however it is very difficult to purchase them in the UK.I need to get another perfect red to give Ruby Woo a rest. I have heard great things about these lipstick and I am becoming a big fan of liquid lipsticks because of how long they last for.
Ben Nye Luxury Powder in Banana- For the past week I have been trying to find a place where I can buy this. On Ebay it is too expensive and shipping from the US is ridiculous & way out of my budget. I would use this product to set my under eyes and prevent creasing.
NYX Contour Palette- This be a cheaper alternative to Anastasia Contour powder kit. I seen many people on Youtube use this to set there makeup and it looks flawless. I was unable to find this item on NYX UK website so I think it is only available in America.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara- The name is a bit "cringe" and a bit of a taboo but the mascara is amazing. Youtuber Makeupgameonpoint aka Jackie Aina (She's Bae) uses this and her lashes look fake. I need this in my life. I am a huge fan of the Benifit's They're Real Mascara and I use it religiously but it is time to branch and this is what I am gravitating toward. It is a similar price at £19.00.
Mac Mineralise Charged Water- A fashion blogger called Jesslyn (http://fashion-squash.blogspot.co.uk/) introduced me to this with her last blog post. I would use this to set my makeup, to dampen the brush before applying eyeshadows for maximum pigmentation.
Mac Giambattisa Valli Lipsticks- I love the packaging for this is so cute. The colours they have in the UK not the same as the ones I've seen in the US, the collection is smaller. I am a fan of matte lipstick, so this is right up my street. This summer, I really want to step out of my comfort zone and try some orange lipsticks. Orange really pops with women of colour. It makes us glow.
Ardell Lashes - These lashes are a fiver each and Superdrug are doing a 3 for 2 offer right now so I need to grab some while the offer still stands. I especially love the Demi Wispies and wispies lashes.
Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade- I finally know where to get this from http://www.cultbeauty.co.uk/ they sell AND ship at a reasonable price. £15.00 for the product. It is a bit pricey but a little goes a long way so I have heard.People's brows look amazing and natural when they use this and some just look.... For all the years of loving brow this has been my No.1 product on my wishlist maybe I will get this as a birthday present for myself.
Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette- This palette is everything. That's all I need to say. It is out of my budget but a girl can dream. Last time I checked it was around £40.00 two week worth of lunch money, may starvation begin (JOKE)
Benifits Porefessional Primer- I really need to add a primmer to my collection as now the only issue I have with makeup is making it last. This primer make your face look pore-less. I would love to give this a try and full review.
Benifits Roller Lash- Some of my peer have used this and it is actually true you don't need a lash curler when using this. This stuff is amaze-ball and I would love to compare it to They're Real Mascara.
Anastasia Beverly Hill Liquid Lipstick in Pure Hollywood- This would be the perfect nude for me. I would match this with Mac liner Chestnut or Cork.

PS if you know any link for me to purchase these item please comment we are a beauty community and we should share info xxx

This look is very simple, most of the look is concentrated on the eye hence why I went for nude lip (sleek matte me- birthday suit lined with kiko liner 315). Perfect for an evening outing, proms etc
Add lashes to make the look a WOW look.
Products used:
Make-up Revolution salvation palette
MUA palette (the one I used in the last post)

Neutral summer glow (two lippies)

I created this look using MUA Romantic Efflorescence palette and the only other new product I used was black opal's foundation stick in suede mocha to contour my chubby cheeks. This look shows the importance of lipstick It determines what kind of girl you are :
The shy cute young girl or the loud and out-there diva.
You could complete this look with lashes (i was not bothered) .
