Hello Natural Sisters ❤

Since I entered secondary school I was forced into becoming "natural" but I really did not understand anything about it. I had no guidance from an experience person so I did go through the terrible period of not understanding my hair, hating its thickness and the fact that I couldn't put a comb through it without feeling pain.
I'm going to start a new series on this blog for clueless girls like me to get me to the stage I am at now <fully natural, with a bit of heat damage :( >  which could of taken me a lot less time. I will also be featuring my hair goals and length checks, favourite products and DIYs.
So hold Natural sisters and let go of what my good friend calls the cream crack(perm)!

Love your curls and Love the natural you x

Prom Prepations 2

well, well, well prom is probably more stressful than taking an exam. Now I understand that prom=stress^100000 I thought organising will be easy I simply didn't realise how important it is to be ready and to finally feel like a movie star. So here are a list of mistakes I have made in the build up to prom, please don't make the same mistakes:

 1. (I didn't) Think ahead. There is no point of last minute shopping you would be too stress to think straight. Always have a plan in life. Have a picture of what you want to look like this does not have to be exact but a good foundation is better than none.

2.(I started late and not) START EARLY. This rule apply especially to your skin care routine. The magic of the product don't happen in a day it takes time no matter how expensive it is. If you want flawless skin start at the beginning of the year.If you would like thick hair use the product for a month not a week. The good thing about this method is that you would be able to see if the product actually work and still have enough time to change them!

3.DON'T BE LAZY (like I was) My mother took care of most of the important things like the dress but i still had a lot of thing to think about and in the end i did do it however i did them late. This was not because i struggled with going out or online shopping but I thought it was a long way away. TIME FLIES. It is better to be early than to be late. The early bird always catches the worm.

I know this post is a bit dry no pics but I am generally under the stress of prom. PLEASE follow me the more followers I get the more encouraged i am to continue to blog publicly. Stay tuned I will be blogging about my prom showing you guys my dress, shoes & toes! I will also be doing a june favorites soon maybe on sunday I know it's a bit late but better late than never. Thank you for reading.

L I F E - L O G ♡ #1

Hey guys I'm back!
I have had the most amazing day. I was so fortunate enough to watch The Lion King. THE LION KING!
I wore my LV bag from my mama
and a cheetah skater dress to go with the wild theme from H&M
It was far more entertaining than I expected. Everything was so real (of course it's live), I thoroughly enjoyed the production. It took me ages to figure out how they produced this art. From the dancing to the drumming it was spot on. To me that was a five star performance despite my biased opinion since its the only musical I have watched but the intelligence behind to create this is crazy. How do you make a human a giraffe?
My all time favourite character has to be Rafiki. It was played by a woman who voice made me speechless. It just reminded me of my love for raw African music when the focus was on the harmonies and antiphonal not the domination of the beat.
Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba - Circle of Life (my tune)

Well for a first musical Lion King was probably the best choice now I hooked on musical and will now plan to see Lion King another five times. The musical has inspired me to watch more my next one will be The Bodyguard.

Sorry for the lack of photo they didn't allow me to take photos inside the theatre

Note. Thank you for reading my post please follow and comment on my Blog x

Prom preparation #1

So it's prom season! This is theoretically said to be the best night of the year. Why? Because you are allowed to go over the top and surprise everyone with your beauty. Most proms have a theme, mine is Hollywood Glam A bit cliché but I'm in love with the idea. Just imagine all the stars on the red carpet and we ordinary people get to have the same feeling they get!

At the start it is hard but Donna is here to rescue you from the stress of contemplation and indecisiveness with just a few steps:
1. Think of a budget
You don't want to be put in a situation where you have this gorgeous dress but not enough money to do your hair or buy shoes. You don't have to spend millions but a wise person told me if you fail to plan you plan to fail. Period.
2. According to your theme get some inspiration
There are so many YouTube videos prom get ready with me, old Hollywood glam make up tutorials and so much more go and explore by searching the word prom. Google images is a great place to find pictures of proms and what people wore. If you are extra( in other words "creative") like me you could create a mood board. There are tones of sites, my favorite has to be "The Hunt" where you can find unknown things you have been searching for or make someone style you. It really is a girls best friend.

3. Online searching
you don't have to buy your dress from online store however it is nice to be prepared. Look at the styles in season match them to your inspired look and colour. It is also good to visit shop or order early sometimes the product looks different when you see it in reality.
4. The Makeup
For me this is the most important thing of the night. The make or break of an outfit. In opinion you could wear something so simple and have a flawless makeup look and you will stand out. Look for makeup looks that match your colour. Mine is coral so I searched makeup looks for a  coral dress and a picture of Kim k came up with a flirty eyes,a defined contour and highlight and nude lip.
Perfect. All I have to do now is add some Prima Donna to it!
5. Be inspired but be you
Don't let your ideas be too out of your comfort zone you want to be comfortable on this night. If you don't feel comfortable wearing high heels wear flats. If Kim's highlight is too much for you tone it down. Be you.

In the beginning...(a quick note)

The start of a new hobby...
Like most of the 16 year old's in England, I am patiently waiting for the D-day. No, not "Domesday" but determination day, the last life or the game changer. Isn't funny have a piece of paper can alter your destiny! Well to take my mind of that I decided to create this blog where I can share all my beauty secrets, prom preparations and all the bargains I find. This is just my gift to the cyber community.
